IMPORTANT -
SQUARE
your
quilt top – if the top is more than one inch out of square
you run the risk of pleats or folds in the quilt top when
quilted. If top is more than one inch out of square, then
we will discuss repairs necessary to correct the quilt. |
 |
|
IMPORTANT
- Clean and clip quilt top (back and top)
of hanging threads - not clipping the loose threads can
cause problems with machine quilting, and run the risk of
you being able to see the threads through the finished
quilt. |
 |
|
Press quilt top and backing. |
 |
|
Mark the top edge of the quilt top with a safety pin.
This will indicate your preference for the top of the quilt. |
 |
|
I stock a wide selection of thread colors offered by
Superior Thread, the best choice for machine quilting.
If another custom thread is desired, there will be a
surcharge. |
 |
|
If you supply your own batting, the batting must be at
least 4" larger than the quilt top on all sides. |

|
NOTE: If you plan to mail your quilt top to us,
please print out a work order invoice, fill out, and send
with your quilt. In the pricing, add $15.00 for return
shipping. We will call you when the quilt top arrives and
discuss your quilting needs at that time. Quilt work will
proceed when agreement is reached on the scope of work. |
